Flamenco I - APC

Done in watercolor pencil and ink, this is an APC - artist postcard - painted in the 4"x6" size. I think I like the APC size better than the ATC size....at least, I like drawing and painting in the larger size.

Oh fantastic!!! Love the delicate fingers and the sense of movement you convey through this pose. The fall of the dress is rendered beautifully!

Oh my, your dancers are awesome. Do you dance? You seem to have caught the gestures so well. Very nice work.

Thanks for the nice comments, and yes, I dance...around my house that is...lol. I never took dance lessons, although I wished I had. I love the youtube website, because you can find a video of almost any form of dance you can think of, and get to see so many beautiful variations of dance from around the world. I learned about the APC thing from the FineArts ATC group. It's just painting in postcard size. I did cut watercolor paper to that size to paint, but I also have a book of actual watercolor postcards that I didn't use as of yet.

How exciting. Keep on dancing around the house. You've inspired me to look for some dancing films on YouTube.
